Artist's Description
This is a recreation of the Bay in Okaloosa County, Florida. I was visiting my grandchildren in Niceville when I stumbled upon a beautiful bay glistening in the early sunlight. I had to pull over and paint the scene, but I felt like it was missing something. I couldn't decide how to finish my painting. At just that moment, a sloop (a sort of sailboat) glided in to the picture and I knew I had my painting!
